Welcome to Police Beat 314.  Officer Gerald Klamerus is the primary contact and Beat Coordinator of 314.  Officer Klamerus has been serving the citizens of Skokie since 1995.  He is currently assigned as a dayshift Patrol Officer.

Beat 314 is in the southwest corner of Skokie, bordering Chicago and Niles.  The Skokie Police Department, Skokie Fire Department Headquarters, Village Hall and Skokie Public Library are all in 314!  Beat 314 is also home to the Village Crossing Shopping Center, Skokie Park District Administrative Building, Fairview South School and many businesses.  There are many homes here too, including Ionia Avenue, way down south!

The western border of Beat 314 is Central Avenue or Lehigh Avenue, the southern border is the Village limits or Pratt Avenue (plus the Ionia peninsula), the eastern border is Skokie Boulevard and the northern borders are Oakton and Mulford Streets.    Student pedestrian traffic is abundant here with Niles West High School, Fairview South School and Oakton Community College Skokie Campus all being situated within the Beat.
