Police Beat 317

Welcome to Police Beat 317.  Officer Steve Bush is the primary contact and Beat Coordinator of 317.  Officer Bush has been serving since 1997 and is currently assigned to the Patrol Division on dayshift.

Beat 317 is a smaller area in the middle of Skokie.  The Beat extends several blocks to either side of Skokie Boulevard.  The western border of Beat 317 is Niles Center Road; the southern border is Mulford Street; the eastern border is Kenton Avenue; and the northern border is Main Street.  Much of ‘Downtown Skokie’ is in this Beat.  The newer of the two CTA Yellow Line stops, the Oakton Street station, is here!

Lincoln Junior High is the only public school within Beat 317.

Officers working Beat 317 answer calls for service and provide guidance to visitors in the downtown area.  They know the best places to park, just ask!
